Lily Collins

Lily Collins kept things small and meaningful with her tattoo. Speaking to Seventeen magazine, Lily said, “I always wanted tattoos, so this past November, I got two. I got my back done first and its my handwriting and it says, ‘Love, always and forever.’” We love the tiny Rose entwined with the letter L – romantic with a gothic edge! Lily got the tatt while in a relationship with her The Mortal Instruments co-star Jamie Campbell-Bower so we wonder if he inspired her word choice.

Fashion for designer jewellery is quite stable but of course there are new fashion trends every season. Designer jewellery remains fashionable for a long time but jewelers present new collections every year. In this article we will tell you about designer jewellery collections 2010.
Designer jewellery with animals is extremely popular today. In 2010 cats and especially tigers rings and pendants are top fashion. Designer jewellery with cats of different forms and sizes gained a great popularity. But designers don’t stop at it. A choice of animals’ jewellery this season is extremely big. You can buy designer jewellery with elephants and monkeys. Snakes, birds, spiders and even bulldogs are also fashionable. But of course, classic butterflies and dragonflies rings and earrings are still in vogue. The use of sea animals is a new trend in designer jewellery. In 2010 jewelers use sea stars, dolphins and crabs as fashionable pendants and decorations for earrings.
Floristic motives are also top fashion in 2010. Perhaps there are no women in the world that don’t like flowers. Fashion designers use flowers everywhere this season and of course designer jewellery is also often decorated with flowers of all forms and sizes. The choice of flowers is really impressive: you can choose designer jewellery decorated with a number of small flowers or one big flower, with exotic flowers or wildflowers. In jewelry collections you can find big massive rings with flowers as well as classic designer jewellery decorated with floristic ornaments. The choice of materials for fashionable jewelry is also great. Jewellery made from gold, silver and even enamel are all top fashion. Gemstones are also widely used in floristic jewelry. On the whole, fashion for flowers in designer jewellery is understandable: women are often compared with flowers and women in flowers always look beautiful and attract attention.
Designer jewellery with crosses is also in vogue. There are a lot of discussions whether a cross symbol is appropriate for fashionable jewellery but nevertheless jewelry crosses are used in most of fashionable collections this year. Jewelers use crosses of different styles and forms and even decorate them with precious stones.
Geometrical ornaments are also popular today. Squares, circles and ovals are widely used in designer jewellery nowadays. Jewelry decorated with geometrical ornaments always looks stylish and will never go out of fashion.
But for romantic natures, there is new trend in jewelry fashion – jewelry lace. Delicate jewelry that looks like lace became top fashion today. Vintage style airy pendants and earrings made from gold and silver are attractive but look very elegant at the same time. Diamond, that are widely used in lace jewellery add up to the effect of lightness and transparency.
Gemstone jewelry is extremely popular in 2010. Absolutely different gemstones from expensive diamonds to bright semi-precious stones are used in designer jewellery. Fantasy cut of stones also attracts a lot of attention. If you wear designer jewellery with such originally cut precious or semiprecious stone you will always attract attention. In this season colored semiprecious stones, such as beryl, citrine, amethyst and quartzes of all the colors of the rainbow are top fashion.
